Frequently Asked Questions

If you have been funded by the NDIA for Support Coordination your plan will specify that you have 'Capacity Building Support' one the categories under this will state 'Support Coordination" and give you an expectation of the Level of Support Coordination funding. 

The NDIA will only provide funding for Support Coordination for those that require the assistance deemed reasonable for Support Coordination. Your LAC is a great resource and can assist with connecting with service providers also. if unsure please reach out and we can assist you with providing you the information and direction on where to go 

Great question! The NDIS is all about "Choice and Control' This means that you have the choice and options to connect with any provider you chose. There is no penalty or concerns in changing providers, and we encourage you to make sure that you have good rapport with your service providers to ensure that you get the most out of your plan.

What is an Incident?

An incident is something that happens that may cause harm, injury, distress, or make someone feel unsafe.

What We Will Do

If an incident happens, we will:

• Act quickly to keep everyone safe.
• Provide support to those affected.
• Record and review what happened.
• Take steps to reduce the risk of it happening again.
• Keep you informed where appropriate.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Feel safe and respected.
• Tell us if you have concerns about your safety.
• Be involved in discussions about incidents that affect you.
• Receive support from a family member, friend, advocate, or representative.
